Best place to get 1/2" O3 resistant tubing?
What are my options as far as materials go, and where can I get it? Aquatic eco is selling some for $30 per foot!
I'm asking about 1/2" tubing for water flow, NOT airline tubing. Thanks. |

I just wanted to add some info I discovered here in case anyone brings it back up in a search. Randy has an excellent chart for materials and tubing suitability with ozone here:
http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-04/rhf/index.php Using this chart, I found that the tubing shown above is not the best choice for ozone. There is some really expensive stuff, and some decent priced stuff, so far I've found that this silicone tubing is cheapest and highly resistant: http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/ite...3884&catid=799 |
