115 Gallon Setup Help
What would the best powerhead setup for a 115 gallon tank be? I've heard of vortech but those things are expensive. What's the best powerhead in a lower price range... and how many do you think I would need?
I'm looking to put in corals, anemones. |

Well, some corals require a lot more flow than others. I'd look for 1200 gph total for a low-flow setup, and a lot more for Acropora and high-flow animals. Some Koralia or modified Maxi-Jets should be okay for lower-end equipment.

I have had and still do have good luck with the Maxi-Jet mods. Like bertoni said, different animals will require different flow. So, anywhere from 1 to 4 might be necessary.
