Question ? on VorTech for 120g build

Im setting up a new 120 and wanted to know if I should use 1 or 2 MP40Ws in the Setup. This will be a Mostly SPS tank.

Thanks

Thanks. I was hoping I could get away without dropping the 1k, but I guess not.

Two would be better assuming you put them on opposite sides. I've got two on my Elos 120 (which is slightly smaller than US-made 120) and they work great. However, I have to dial them down quite a bit. Also, since one side is very visibile in the room I don't like the big Vortech hanging on the side. I'm considering the use of a Tunze 6105 or 6205 mounted on the back, and angled toward the center. So I may settle for 1 Vortech in the end.

I would go with 2 if you don't want to add more flow later on when your sps grow. I had 2 in my 80g for a while.

I have two on my 90g, and I love the flow they produce.
