Return pump recs and feedback

I'm looking to upgrade the return pump on my tank. I am currently running a Poseidon PS3 with a 6' head to a 210g. I'm probably getting 900gph probably quite a bit less. I'm looking to get it a little closer to 1200gph for as quiet and energy efficient (external pump) as I can get it. If it's an internal I dont mind it running a little hot as I could use the extra heat and maybe substitute a few heaters with just the pump.

So far I've taken a look at the Panworld 200PS (high wattage) and Mag18. I have no experience with these pumps so was wondering if I can get some feedback from those that have used these and others.

I did consider the new Snapper. The only problem with those are that my sump is already drilled for a 1" inlet and theirs start at 1 1/2". I'm not sure that I could drill a second larger hole without wasting the tank. It's a glass 40 breeder BTW. With that thought, I could maybe drill a hole on another side of the tank for it but I'll have to think on that a bit.

yeah i would definately drill another hole rather than trying to make that one bigger.

You wont get a pump as quiet as the PS3. What size and how is the return plumbing set up? Maybe an improvement in the return plumbing could get you an increase in flow.

Doubt it cause even the pump curve shows only 660gph at 5' head. (courtesy: Marine depot)

The design I originally had in mind which included eductors didn't work out as well as I had planned which was why I had gotten this pump. So now I'm just looking for a flow solution vs. pressure rated.
