Protein skimmer out of control since treating ich med

My Octopus skimmer is foaming out of control, since I hooked it back up after treating my aquarium for ich, using Hertana and Artimiss, for a week.

I am now running carbon, hoping to fix this problem.

Any solutions??

thank you

Its normal for a skimmer to act up with medication in the system. Dial it down so the water level drops to where the skimmer isn't overflowing anymore and just let it do its thing. Don't shut the skimmer off because its an important way to get air into the water and you could run into ph problems with it offline for a couple days.
