My 150G Mixed Reef
I thought I'd share some pics of my office tank. It's pretty simple mixed reef setup using 3X 150MH lights and 2X T5 actinics. I wanted an open look with lots of colorful, easy to care for corals.
I have a big Sps tank at home that takes up lots of time. I put this together to have a simple tank I could leave alone and let everything grow out. |

Thanks!
I think that's a green plate coral. There's a blue gorgonian in the tank but you can't see it that well in the photos. Re Vogel-My biggest tip would be regular water changes & a good skimmer. Also, I've had good results dosing vodka and Mb7. That really helped get my nitrates down to 0. |
