open brain coral hopped off skeleton! Ever seen?
Has anyone ever seen this? My open brain coral has attached itself to the live rock and bailed on its skeleton! I will put a pic up. Complete polyp bail out and living good!

impossible and no never seen that. If it bailed its dead sorry to say. it cannot attach like an aneome or shrrom.

Yes, polyp bailout is a recognized form of asexual reproduction; it can also be a response to extreme stress.
But since 'open brain' doesn't really identify the coral, we can't say what's going on here... without a picture, that is.
