Lid for Rimless Tank???
Has anyone seen or know where to get clips that can be used to rest a plate of glass to cover a 22x22 rimless cube. I dont want to use screen but I really need to keep the wrasses from jumping at all costs. I wish they sold something like the solana tanks have to secure the lid, I've looked at shower door hardware etc. but can seem to find anything at HD.

Seriously recommend you reconsider and build a custom polypropolene mesh screen cover that will keep the fish in and not disrupt your lighting.
This is my first attempt. The side panels would fit perfect but not enough play for the Tunze cords, so going to run them under the middle panel soon. 2 of my wrasses jumped out with eggcrate, none thus far with the mesh. Last edited by roblack; 12/22/2009 at 08:38 PM. |

Mattocean has a pretty sweet top for his rimless made out of glass. Maybe he'll chime in.
Rob: make me one of those!

My buddy Marcos gave me a good idea to just glue some supports onto the glass and get a thin sheet of starfire to fit ontop. However the retail clips are sounding most interesting since i dont like any clutter. Anyone have distributors or now some places to pick this hardware up?
