couple of stocking Qs

Is this list ok? These are all fish I have currently that will be transferred out of two tanks into this one.

Blue Hippo Tang
Yellow Tang
Neon Psuedochromis
Two False Percula Clowns
Bursa Trigger
Blue Spot Puffer
6 Line Wrasse
Snowflake Eel

Here is my question. I have a buddy that tore a tank down and had a pair of clowns I took from him. Can I have 4 coexist in the same tank (a 6ft 125 gal) or is this a bad idea? I would like to put one of the large angels in as well or a dog face puffer. I will have coral in the tank- mostly LPS- several frogspawns, 2 birdnest, some zoos, a monti, and a cup. I know there is risk of this stuff being eaten as well as the smaller fish. What do you guys and gals think? I also will be running sumpless, but am VERY dillegent with my water changes and feeding and will have 2 HOB skimmers.

The trigger and puffers will wreak havoc on any invert in the tank. There's a guy local here who breeds clowns and has 2 pair in the same 125. The reason I think it works though is the osce. pair has it's territory in the far back left corner and the I believe maroons are hosting a carpet in the far right side. I doubt they know each exists b/c the osce. pair were already established and never stray far from their spot.

Basically I hope you're not too attached to your corals or any of the small fish b/c there's a good chance they'll disappear over time. The eel will make a snack of any smaller fish if he gets a chance.

yeah, the only fish I would be really worried about eating would be the 6 line. The rest were added WELL before the trigger, plus the trigger is pretty small still, smaller than the clowns anyways. I didn't think triggers or puffers would mess with frogspawns or birdnests that often. The inverts, I really only have snails and they thus far have left them alone. I do have a cleaner shrimp that I am pretty sure will be a snack eventually.

The multiple clownfish pairs is a risk. It might work in a tank of that size and it might not.

The trigger and puffer (as has been said) are subject to molesting the inverts and smaller fish.

Basically, it boils down to the temperment of the individual fish. What you are attempting to do violates several compatibility "rules" but it might work. Just prepare yourself to move/lose specimens if they get harassed.

Unless they are heavily fed meaty foods, they will eat coral - but only until it's gone...

As for the clowns, they will battle for whatever home they have selected. My 350G DT wasn't large enough for two pairs... my orange & whites would have eventually been killed if I hadn't added a second toadstool for them to host almost 8 feet away...

As stated in earlier posts, you've got several recipes for disaster in your current list...

JMHO.

i am not going to do the angel at all. One set of clowns is back at the LFS. I am trying to get rid of some of my corals as well. I am going to try to keep the frogspawn, the mushrooms, and the birdnest. Everything else will be relocated. I am not going with a larger angel. I have a Bursa Trigger, Blue Spot Puffer, Yellow Tang, Blue Tang, a set of False Perc Clowns, Neon Psuedochromis, Snowflake Eel, and 6 Line currently that will make the move to the 125gal.
