What is the difference in apex controllers.

Just want to know the differences in apex controller where the dollar goes. Example pay X amount of dollar you get a navigation instead of a CD player. Are all of them controllable thru iphone. Thanks for helping a newbie....

Yes, they both have built inPC/internet control. The Apex Lite lacks an ORP port as well as teh 0-10v dimmable outlets. Which also means no Tunze control without adding an aquasurf.

There is only the Apex and Apex Lite in the Apex lineup. If you are refrring to the Aquacontroller line, they have a comaprison chart on their site.

Like mentioned in post 2 only diff is 1 ph port and no dimmable outlets for tunze. You are able to do everything else. Add modlues, EB8's whatever. I'm looking to get the lite in the New Years, can't wait!

But you can add those later right ? What is the difference in apex and aquacontroller aren't they made by the same company. The top of the line apex cost less than aquacontroller after you add the probes right ? Even for the same price the apex look better, just don't know about the features though.

The Apex Lite is a new module that has been changed so you friendly consumers can take advantage of cheaper pricing. What’s changed from the normal Apex unit? The 4 variable speed ports, and the second ph/ORP connector have been removed, besides that though its the same Apex unit as far as expandability and software features. The Apex Lite system was being shown off at MACNA and includes the Apex Lite Base module, Apex Display, EB8, and temperature probe. Retail is said to come in at $369.95 and you can pick one of these new guys up in November.
