Dumb question GFO?

What is GFO, how do you use it, and why? It may be a dumb question but I just don't know.

GFO - Granular Ferric Oxide - Iron Based - Phosphate Remover

Used for removing phosphates from the system. Best used in a reactor.

Cool thanks i thought it was something else. I didn't know it was just another term for phosphate removing media. Thanks again
