They work great for making waves.
Looks cool, but personally I dont think there is as much flow as good powerheads moving water around. Some people swear by them tho. |

I am planning a corner tank. Is there any reason the flow configuration from the tunze may not be effective? Heres the tank design. I was thinking it could go right at the corner of the overflowon the back wall...

Tank dimensions do make a difference. I have one of these on my 75 gallon, and the 48" length is really the minimum to get a decent effect I believe. You may want to ask in the Tunze forum.
These are also designed to work with additional flow from other sources, the waveboxes can't replace them. |
