ATO setup - help a noob out
show me your setups. I am wanting to do one, but can't quite grasp how they work and what I need to make one work. I would really like to just do a simple one with a five gallon bucket of rodi water under my tank and into my sump.

www.autotopoff.com - Get the 2 float unit. One float will be a backup. ($50.00)
Then you'll just need an Aqualifter pump ($15.00) & some silicone airline ($5.00) Setup is very reliable. Pump is dead silent & can run dry without failing. Done it several times. I've had this type of setup for over a year without any issues. |

second the aqualifter pump and dual float from autotopoff.com. They work like this: You install a float switch at the desired water level, you plug your pump into the float switch plug, when the water level drops below your desired level the float switch plug powers the pump, after the water level reaches the desired level the float switch kills power to the pump.
Remember to have your top off water container below the outlet of your top off tubing or you will create a syphon. |
