ATO and Kalkwasser question

I've been successfully dosing kalk via my top-off resevoir and a Kent float valve in my sump...I think this is an accident waiting to happen, so.....

I bought a tunze osmolator and kalk reactor, but....

The more I research, I can't decide if should go that route or simply add my osmolator pump (slightly elevated of course) inside my kalk loaded top-off resevoir and press on w/o the kalk reactor. Thinking about adding vinegar to my resevoir too...can't do that with a reactor.

Thoughts? Which way to go? Advantages/Disadvantages????
