Easy Dripline Newbies like me
So, when I first started out a couple of months ago I had no idea what a dripline was or how to make one. I also had a hard time finding a thread to learn. This is what I came up with. For most of you on here I am sure this is very basic, but for me it was a small feat. I thought I would share for others.
Attached are two pictures. The valve and tubing I got at Lowes for about a total of $3.50 (go to plumbing section). The tubing fits perfectly inside the side holes of a veggie clip I use. So, I can easily suction the tubing to the side of the tank for a sturdy siphon. Then I just cut the top of a milk jug to set my plastic bags in with whatever critters I have. Then I stick the tubing through the top of the milk jug into the plastic bag. The dripline never moves and and the valve works great. You can slow it down to a very, very slow drip if you want. |

Nice job!!!
You gotta love ingenuity. That's the way you get ahead in this hobby, and save a few bucks as well.
Nice Job. By the way, I may borrow your idea if that is okay with you. Good Luck, Bassking
