Ricordeas on sand bed?

I have a lawnmower (make that bulldozer) Blenny and have some ricordeas on the way. Will they be OK on the bottom even though he kicks sand all over? I'm afraid he will irritate them....

Thanks.

If you can keep the flow somewhat higher across your sandbed, you should be ok. I don't really think that the Blenny would completely bury anything, but there is always an exception. If they get a little sand on them, it's not really a big deal but keep an eye on them

I have a diamond goby that pretty much does the same thing, but for the most part he leaves the rics alone, and if they do get covered with sand they usually get out from under it on their own.
