LED PAR and Penatration

Hi,
I was looking for people with information on LED PAR and light penatration. I have a 29" deep tank and was thinking about buying an Galaxy LED unit from Sfiligio. I believe the LEDs are 3 watts and a total of 279 of them for a tank that 72" x 24" (29" deep. I want to know if I can grow SPS on bottom of tank or if I should just go with halides. Any help is appreciated (links, pictures, experiences)

LED options are starting to flood in. I'd wait another year if possible and see which ones claw their way to the top. Take it from me, a Solaris owner, you want to wait a few generations on these.

I completely agree with you, the problem is that I'm setting up my tank right now and need lights. Do you feel that you get/got good penetration with the solaris?
