Snail Shells

Hi Everyone,

I've just been out for dinner and had snails (we live in France, so it's quite normal) and I've brought home their shells thinking that I could clean them in the dishwasher then put them in the tank so that the hermit crabs would have a bigger shell to move into. Could that work?

Cheers
Fiona

I would say boil them and rinse real well. I would not want any soap residue in my tank!
