mp-40 problems??

ive had my mp40 for about 4 months now and the wet side keeps falling off. it will run for a bit and it sounds like it gets weaker and weaker and then it falls off. anyone else here have problems like that...

mine did that for a while after about 4-6 months. try taking the wet side off, taking it apart, and giving it a good vinegar bath and cleaning. Make sure when you put it back in, it is lined up perfectly with the dry side or it will start to vibrate and then fall off. I also moved the magnet spacer one notch closer so it holds a bit tighter.

I set my spacer a little closer as well although I never had problems with the wet side falling off.

just checked it again and when i plug it in it sounds normal and about 15 seconds or so it starts to loose power and then throws the wet side off. does that mean the transformer might be bad???
