should i leave t5s on?
wondering if i should turn my t5s on earlier in the day and then turn my mhs on later for 6 hours later? Thinking about kepping t5s on for 9 hours is this good idea? I have two t5s for my 55 gallon and two 14k metals halides

Don't give your corals more than 12 hours total light span. You could turn the T5's on for 2 hours, then everything for 8, and then back to just the T5's for a remaining 2, but don't turn the T5's on for 9, then switch to halides for 8.

I've been running my T5's for 12 hours for just about 2 years with no issues. My halides run for 9 hours too. Here are my results from this lighting schedule.
