VHO Bulb Life - Dimming

Does anyone know if dimming VHO bulbs has a affect on bulb life? I am running 4 - 5' VHO's on two IC 660 ballasts on a Solar dimmer, The lights are on for 12+ hours a day (including dimming periods). It seems like I read awhile back that dimming reduces bulb life but I cant find anything to confirm that vague recollection.

Bump? Noboby is using a dimmer and VHO?
