Lets see your 55gal
Hey guys,
So I'm trying to decide weather i should re aqua scape my tank or just leave it. I really like pillars but that's kinda hard to do with 12" depth. Here is mine, kind of crappy picture i'll have to try again later. ![]() |

Nice tank,
I like how yours is alittle open in the middle. I wonder how my tank would look if i removed a few rocks from the middle to make it similar to yours and just sit those rocks on one of sides... |

I have had lots of people say I should use more rock, but I like the openness of the tank. I also have a small bioload. That is a fairly old picture as I have gotten rid of two of the fish in that photo. I now only have a yellow tang, diamond goby and firefish. Also the rocks dont quite look like that anymore as I took the whole tank apart twice in the last 2 weeks so I could catch the fish I wanted to get rid of. It only takes about 5 hours to take all the rockes and corals out and then put it all back in. I have to keep telling myself no more fish. I dont want to take it all apart again.

Yeah it doesn't look like alot but i like it better then the normal reef wall.
I know what you mean i had to take mine apart twice too... Got rid of my damsels since they were killing my new fish and then i bought a reef lobster that was chasing my tang... |
