ID please algea or sponge (photo included)
Please id the algae below.
It seems to some type of algae, it comes of easily from the rocks and seems to be slimy. Should I be concerned about this? |

if it comes off easy, and it's slimy chances are it is algae between those 2 choices. That being said, the photo, out of the water, is very tough to tell. Lots of things deflate, and look very different out of water.

Cyanobacteria maybe? Its usually (but not always) dark maroon but comes of easily. Got a pic with it in the water and some light on it?
