Carbon remove
Does carbon help remove phosphates at all? And, what all things does it help remove from water that is harmful?

I use it strictly for chemical warfare. It is also a water polisher. Straight carbon I believe does not remove phosphates. A product like chemi pure elite does remove phosphates and silicates because it uses ferric oxide.

Carbon removes dissolved organic compounds, not PO4. You need granular ferric oxide to remove PO4.
