1 MP40W in 48" 75g

Would a single MP40W be enough for a standard 48" 75g tank? Mixed reef with some LPS & zoas, but primarily focused on SPS.

I picked up an MP20 at a good price, knowing that it wouldn't be enough flow by itself. I've got a couple of koralias to supplement the flow of the MP20. I'd love to be able to remove all the other powerheads in the tank, and just run the MP40.

The other option is to add an MP40W and keep the MP20. Of course that would cost significantly more money.

I have one mp40w in a 48 75 gallon it works just fine, my only thing is that I can't have it all the way turned up because it would blast the tissue right off my corals, so I've set up the return to take care of the other end of the tank, eventually I will get a second and run them both at 60% on antisync

if shooting for mainly sps then i would get the 40 and keep the 20 as well. in time one 40 will not be enough

I am all sps, and 1 is too much for them on full blast, it nearly killed off my lokani because of the flow, thats why I backed down the throttle so much...do not underestimate these pumps

Well, I know I'll have to make changes down the road as things grow in. I guess the biggest issue is if I'll be able to take out the koralias in the short term.
