Can I??

Someone told me that i can add a live rock to my nano to help with cycling is that true?

yes you need live rock for your filtration as well.

Yes you need live rock for a cycle or other wise when you add the live rock. Some times if there is a lot of die off on the live rock. You will have a whole new cycle

Not sure exactly what you are asking, but yes, most people glue or epoxy the coral to the rock in their tank. Have you read the information on setting up a tank in the "sticky" at the top of this forum?
