vodka dosing, what next ?
Saludos All;
I have read about vodka dosing and assuming everything woul be fine at the end of the way, What will do when all nutriends were in control ? May I stop dosing and the system itself will be able to keep the balance; then when the nutriends start to rise, come back to dosing ? Or a manteinace dose has to be active forever.... I suppose that it will be variable upon time... Thanks to anybody who can give me some more info. on that.. |

You will always have to do something to manage phosphates and nitrates because you will always be adding these to your system through food and the waste your fish generate. If you are using vodka then yes you will always have to do a maintenance dose.

Thank you;
For me it will be better to get a good nitrate reactor than been dosing dosing vodka everyday, it could tempt me to drink some.... |
