Little flea like bugs... Need an ID please

Pictures will come tomorrow morning when the lights come on tomorrow. They are smaller than a flea and seem to have a reddish tint to them... None of my corals are stressed out .all polyps are extended . They can move pretty fast scurrying accross the glass. The front glass is the only place I can see them and they only moved when something got close to them IE a snail or a pod. Any advise is great! Thanks!!

Pictures will be best, you dont think they are copepods?

Sounds like redbugs to me... do you have any acros?

on the other hand, the fact that they're on the glass sounds like a unique species of copepod.

Smaller than a flea would rule out amphipods and isopods, imo.

It is so hard to get a good picture. They are maybe half the size of a flee. Do redbugs move fast?

I had the exact sounding little critters scurring about on one of my tanks. IMO, they just another of many plankton type pods that arrive on LR. Unless you find them attached and feeding on your acros then I'd say- as long as they are around you won't need to feed your corals as much.
