Yellow "spong like" growing in my tank help

I just need to know if its bad, if I should take it out or leave it. But it seems to be growing rather quickly.
Thanks in advance

I've never heard of a sponge that wasn't good news. I love mine. They often help to stabilize your rocks by cementing them together. They're actually indicator of good water quality. They're also easily killed if you decide later they are ugly for whatever reason. You should consider moving them if possible though, they love nooks and crannies.
