LED grow lights??

I am still learning about LEDs...

I understand that there are several different LED technologies...

I want to make sure that I understand the difference between LEDs that are used for lighting a reef, growing plants, and lighting a driveway

reefing and living on government cheese (ahem, my cheese)!!?? Hopefuly a joke.

That aside not sure what you are asking. Just choose and led with the color spectrum and intensity that you want. The possibilities are endless. There are also many manufactured led fixtures for the reef aquarium

Cool

LEDs used for reefing should be high watt LEDs 3w is the most popular with anything less being a waste of money in my opinion. Cree is the most popular to use among the DIYers.

FWIW. I have the AI LEDs I think the lights are great! However, I am now in the middle of redoing my tank and the wife wanted some grow lights. So for the time being they are being used as really pricey grow lights. They work very well.
