reusing sand???????

i have a nano tank that has been sitting in the shed for 8 months can i rinse and reuse the sand??

I did I had sand in a tub for almost a year. rinsed it good than used it in my new tank, the tank is doing great.

Same here. I had two tubs in the basement for almost a year and I rinsed them and they did just great.
