lighting help ;)
i have a 14 gallon biocube running right now, slowly upgrading to a 50 gallon tall rimless
i plan on keeping the biocube running as a QT tank... here is where i need some help... the stock top splash shield broke on me a few months ago, i have been running it without a splash shield and so far so good *knock on wood** replacing the splash shield is not an option b/c when it broke it pulled off the piece of plastic from the hood that it would screw into.... i want to remove the stock top before murphys law kicks in....LOL! i dont need anything too crazy high light for the biocube(stock is 2x24watt PCs) as all the corals i have in there now are used to stock PC bulbs that i have no idea how old they are...i mainly have zoas, frogspawn and hammer..... and i am just going to be using it as a QT tank until my 50 gallon is stocked, then it comes down till we move and i put a pair of seahorses in it any ideas on what light i should get...i am having trouble finding a light to fit my tank which is 16.7" across.... |
