Tell me if this sounds right... hooking up RO/DI system...

OK...
Tell me if I have this right in my head??.....
  1. Hook incoming water supply to the Sediment filter
  2. Then it runs to the Carbon block
  3. Then to the Membrane
  4. Back to the DI cannister
  5. and finally out to Aquarium

The last system I hooked up was in a laundry room and I used the cold water from the washing machine to supply it. With that system I had an ASOV installed but I'm not sure why I need it??
This system said "Everything you need" and it didn't come with the Auto shut off valve but I am hooking it up to a dedicated input source instead of sharing with a washing machine or whatever.

Please correct me if I'm wrong!!??!!

That looks to be the right order.

What about the ASO valve.... Is it needed to shut the water production off (or stop waste water) or will it function properly without the valve?

OK.... Found my answer.

The ASOV shuts production off at a pre-set pressure so you don't waste tons of water. Guess I DO need it...
