Question about cycle

Hello, my tank has been up for 5 days and i tested for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and all are showing 0. Is the tank cycled already?..seems a bit fast, tank has about 28 pounds of LR. Or is it too early to show signs of ammonia etc.

Need a little more info.

How many gallons?
LR from the LFS?
Have you added anything to create an ammonia spike?
Has there been days since day 1 that tests were different?

Just to name a few. But most likely it hasn't cycled.

If your rock was well cured from the LFS then there is a good chance you may not get much of a cycle or not notice a cycle at all. Test it a couple of times over the next week and you should have a better idea if it has/hasn't/isn't. Good luck

drop some flake food in the tank and check for ammonia tommorrow and the next day, then add some more and do the same.
