Red face What do you think??

I wasn't happy with my aquascaping so I changed it. What do you think is better? I won't say just yet which pic was the original and which was the change although you can probably tell. Please give any opinions you have.

i like the idea you have with the second pic, but i think it would look way better if you had just a little more rock.

Hey guys. The tank is 60 gallon and the first pic was the original btw.

Anyways here are some pics of how the tank looks now.

I'm pretty sure that it will stay this way because I'm tired of moving around these rocks, and I like the fact that this scape has a lot of flat area to place corals and it also has multiple caves. I'll probably be getting some more live rock to build up the wall. I've enjoyed all of your opinions and ideas and welcome any more on the new scape.

I like the idea with the two islands ,it give you a lot more area to place stuff on your sand. As mentioned I think you should get some more height with a little more LR but only on one side not both. I think two different size mounds would be much more natural looking. I basically have a rock wall like your current picture but as you can see from my pic I have no sandy real estate and is limiting me on some corals that i would love to add.
I have been toying with the idea of the two island design for months but all my coral are so well aclimated to their spots I am fearfull of moving everything.

I agree 855012 it is really difficult with a narrow tank to get a good scape.

Your biggest problem IMO is that all of your rocks looks to be the same shape/size. This gives you little room to work.

Yea lordofthereef. My rock are mostly the same size and all big and that has made it hard for me and as whipit said the fact that my tank is narrow has only made it harder.

Trying to arrange rocks has to be one of the most frustrating tasks I've ever done. You (I, lol) never seem to get it right, and like you, my current arrangement is the way it is because I just got tired of moving things around!

This is my final scape. I think its pretty good. What do you guys think? Also what do you think of my fish? I think that these are all of the fish that I will have. the rest will be corals. Maybe a goby or blenny and some shrimp but that's it. And for you tang police. This tang will be moved when it gets larger.

I definitely like the newest pics the best, looks good. Personally, I think you need more rock, but people will argue either way on that one!

I like it! Personaly if it was my tank I think I'd get a few more pieces of rock and build up the left side a tad more, but it looks good as it is too!

p.s. I love your avatar!

Thanx. I love my dog/friend/alarm system/security guard!

Anyways thank you guys. It took alot of thinking to get to this point. I would like to build up my wall on the left also. I intended to get some when I ordered my cleaning crew but I had to pay double shipping. So maybe later.
