Typhoon 5 stage ro/di, 555tds tap

I have a 2 month old air water ice typhoon 5 stage ro/ di unit. For some reason I can't get 0 tds out of it. I just put néw filter parts in it last week and already the first one is turning very brown. My tds comes out at about 9-10. My tds coming out of my sink is at 555 which I know is probably high. Could it be I just have really bad tap and the unit can't filter it properly? Also if anyone is using this unit let me know I have some questions, maybe I'm not using it right

That is actually pretty good if it is just the membrane. You should have 11ppm out of your RO (not DI) with 555 coming into the tap. You are going to use a lot of di. You can recharge it so I would look into that as well as adding a second di stage.

Buy a lot of prefilters as you are going to need them and keep your membrane flushed or it wont last long with those high of numbers.

no out of the di is about 11 tds. and what do you mean by keeping it flushed? I flush it out for 3-4 minutes every day, is that what you mean? Also how can you recharge the di?
