Thumbs up Best place to order from

We placed 2 orders with 2 different companies to receive saltwater fish and corals and inverts. One company is nothing but a scam and will never order from again but the other company which we are happy to have ordered from is REEFS2GO.com their product and care of their items surpasses any company we have ordered from as they take great care and pride in their items that you order from them and they are fast shippers when you order with them. The owner is a great person to talk to and is always so very helpful when you talk to her. She will not send anything out that does not meet her standards which is awesome because we perfer things that are in good condition and in great health when we put them in our tank. We will always order from REEFS2GO.com as they are the best company to order corals, inverts and fish from. WTG REEFS2GO.com on doing an excellent job with our order.

You may have great customer service but it would be nice if you have more coral selection! Got SPS

Welcome to Reef Central...

You should check out the "Sponsors" forum on here and try some of those guys. Me personally, IF I order online it would be from Liveaquaria.

I mostly only buy corals/fish I can see and tickle!

The company to avoid is www.aquacon.com as they are scam artist and only send you half of your order and then refuse to answer their phone after you get the order to tell them what is wrong with your order. We also buy from Liveaquaria as well and have never had complants but REEFS2GO.com is an awesome company if you want 1 on 1 care with your items :-)

With the company Aquacon.com you can go to this link from the BBB and see how they rated Aquacon and also see that this company has 64 complaints against them in 36 months http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/Busines...ction-27001077

That's wierd I ordered a mated pair of onyx clowns and a cleanup crew and everything was very active when I got it. Everything was accounted for and is still alive a month and a half later. They also called the day before to make sure someone was there the next day to sign for the package.

I would order from them again.

Well then you are very lucky cause we got scammed by them and so have many other people. We ordered from them last week Thursday and got it on Tuesday of this week and we never got a phone call to make sure someone was going to be home. We ordered over $400 in corals, inverts and fish and 2 of the things we really wanted 1 of them never came and the other thing did come and turned out it was not a mated pair after all so we were lied to about it. If anyone wants to know the one item that we ordered and never received it was the Flourescent Blue/Purple Vase that they have on their website. It is a sponge and very unique and rare and we paid for it but never received it. But before ordering from that company aquacon.com check out what the BBB has to say about them, so you can save yourself some money and time dealing with a bad company.

I totally agree and the owners name is Ron Ratoff which really makes you think....anyway, as far as being scammed we were cause our total was over $400 and the items we received equalled up to be only like $125 worth of items.

~~~~On a side note~~~~ If anyone knows of a REALLY GOOD company to order a Flourescent Blue/Purple Vase Sponge from please let me know ASAP as we are looking for one.
I used LiveAquaria.com. Received my corals and fish yesterday and was pleased with what arrived.
Liveaquaria is a great company as well but another is reefs2go.com as they make you feel like you are part of a family when you order from them and they will not send out an item unless it meets or exceeds their standards which is great cause then you are not having to deal with illnesses you know.
Yup, they are trouble. Just do a google for BBB aquacon.com and the first page or so is all about complaints. The BB gives them an "F". I usually do a search on a company before I order from them the first time. Helps protect myself. Good luck in getting it resolved.
Did you order with credit card? I'd call the CC and dispute the entire amount.
yes we ordered with our CC and our CC Company is doing a chargeback against the company thank god, but like I said this company does not return phone calls when you have an issue with them and it is pretty sad that the BBB gives them an "F" Rating and they are still in business. If I were to run a business like that I would be shut down. Makes no sense to me, you know. I just thought I would let everyone know about this company so people will save their money and yes by all means GOOGLE the company before buying from them otherwise you could fall to be the next victim.
Never order anything live via Aquacon short for Aquaconnections. They cleverly market and advertise with google and other search engines so that their website appears at the top when you do anykind of marine search. I personally was scammed on their marshall island liverock back in 2001. I paid over $250 of rock that I ordered through with Ron and he claimed it was fully encrusted with coralline, beautiful, etc and thought with the free shipping it was a good deal. The rock was dead base rock, rock crabs at the bottom of the container, totally devoid of life, coralline, etc. They are scam artists unless you shop with them locally in FL.
I've ordered from both liveaquaria and saltwaterfish and have nothing but good things to say about them. Both had great customer service and quality fish/corals. I just made my first order with bluezooaquatics yesterday. As far as customer service goes they were great, had an answer for everything I asked. I dont' get my corals til tomorrow so I don't know how their 'product' is but I'm sure I'll be pleased with what I get.
Where did you find the information against Aquacon.com for the class action lawsuit? I would really like to know about that link/information you found. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
I've only used liveaquaria and bluezoon. I like bluezoo due to the free shipping. My best experiences in terms of quality of livestock and customer service is Liveaquaria though.
