Pump/overflow for 150 build?

Hi all,

I was wondering what pump/overflow you would recommend for a 150 build? I have a 1800 GPH pump, but I don't think it will be big enough.

general rule is to turn the tank over 10 times an hour....give or take. I've got mine set to roughly 8 times on a 90.

So for a 150 you're looking at around 1500gph return. As for overflow there's lots of designs....imo the bean animal stand pipes with a coast to coast overflow box is the best overflow and can handle well over 4000gph flawlessly, and quietly in my testing.
