Lighting Recommendations for 60x29x18 Tank

Looking for options to light up my tank....

I'm leaaning towards T5's... The biggest concern is should I do 48" or 60" budget is around $650....

Mixed Reef, versitile SPS, LPS maybe a clam or 2.

Thanks,

B

I have a 8x54 watt ATI PM over my 60x30x20 and really like it. I know it's a little out of the price range you stated but well worth it. If you're going to hang the fixture without a canopy, I'd suggest a 48" fixture. For my tank, if I were to hang a 60" fixture 8" above the tank, I'd have a lot of light spillage on the sides.

Solitude...

The difference of about $400 bucks is considerable.... However the guys in the forums seem to love their ATI's. What makes these lamps so valuble versus the sunlights Tek lights or IDK if you heard anything on this company www.catalinaaquarium.com/ they seem to have a very reasonable 48" with LED's made in California.

Its just like a 50% change that I could spend on some Live Rock

Comments anyone???
