megachrome 150w 20ks

Im setting up a 40 breeder and i got a good priced 2x150w sunpod, i was reading that sunpods sometimes dont fire radiums so instead of risking it, im going to try the megachromes. I want a nice blue color in the tank, but still be able to keep ALL species of SPS coral and still get decent growth. Does anyone have any experience with these bulbs? Pics? Hows your sps growth/coloration?

Ushio 20k is nice, thats what i use on my sps frags. never seen the megachrome

I've always heard it speculated megachrome 20k, AB 20k and ushio/BLV 20k are all the same bulb. I'd love confirmation (I know the AB and ushio are but not the megachrome). I'm not sure about the megachrome but the sunpod fires the ushio 20k fine. its very blue until it breaks in but whitens up nicely (but not too much). I havent seen anyone willing to pay 150w 20k megachrome prices to experience with it so maybe you can be the first.

i really want a deep blue to bring out the color, i read a review about the megachromes online awhile back but i wanted to get some more input before i put out the money. I currently have ushio 14k bulbs on the fixture that im going to use for a month or so when i fill up the tank sometime after easter, that is unless the grandparents decide to give me some money haha if thats the case ill buy them and let you guys know.. until then i would like to see if i can get some input from anyone.
