What is a good test kits and expiration date?
I just have a master kit with ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph. I have had for a year and used it when I setup my nano. I have a 75 that has been cycling for a couple weeks and was wondering if there is a expiration date for kits.
Also what are some good brands? I need something to test calc, alk etc Thanx all!! |

many here swear by salifert test kits. There is an expiration date on test-kits, but I don't know what it is.

Elos is a good brand as well. I would say Elos and Salifert are the way to go. A bit pricey compared to others but I have heard nothing but good things about them.

Some people have complained about Salifert saying the test results varies. But Elos would be the one if you have the funds to a good test kit.

Elos for sure, worth the money...if your kits are around for longer than 9-10 months, throw them away
