shrimp trap

anyone has any suggestions of making a shrimp trap?

theres this boxer prawn i wanna get out but its too fast.

i tried the betta box method with fish food but it did not work.

try putting an empty clean glass jar under or around the area the shrimp tends to hang out and put some food inside the jar that will stay there. You could wrap some silversides in net with a small rock and sink it in the jar.

Leave it over night and hope the shrimp goes into it. He won't be able to get out. But you may catch a few crabs first!
