Giesemann T-5 end cap mounting holes

Hi,

I'm trying to find out if anyone knows what the thread size is for the mounting holes on Giesemann T-5 end caps? The plastic they are made of doesn't seem very tolerant to trial and error. Marine Depot gave me a number to call their Giesemann rep, but he didn't have the size available. I'm hoping someone on here might have used these and figured out the size.

While I'm at it, I'm pretty sure that this is a "depends on the bulb" question, but is there a suggested dimension between the end caps? Preferably the distance between the two sets of mounting holes? Does a number like this exist or do people just assemble everything on the bench and just measure?
