Skimmer Help
Hey I have a seaclone 100 and i run it off the back of my 30 gal tank. I've done the usual mods and it works pretty well considering i got it new for 30 bucks. It is pouring out microbubbles into my tank though, and I can't figure out how to stop it. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

Have you added any water conditioners to the tank? You can try putting a small foam insert in the return.

+1 on the foam. I did that when I had mine and it worked, but you need to clean it regularly.

I don't use any conditioners in the tank, but when i get my r/o water i add some Prime to it. I don't follow on how that would make a difference though. I've tried to use sponge and that kinda helped so I'll pick up some foam and get a regulator valve for the air intake. Thanks

Water conditioners reak havoc on some skimmers. What I found with that skimmer is you have to play with the air adjustment until you get it just right. The problem is that you have to do it all the time. I would think about getting a better and more reliable skimmer.

You could always try some filter floss
