tunze 9002 vs cpr aeroforce
I am still trying to decide on a protein skimmer to replace my oceanic biocube protein skimmer. After researching all over the web I have narrowed down my choices to either the cpr aeroforce and the tunze 9002. I have a regular 20 gallon tall tank. I head the aeroforce is much quiter and more efficient then the bak-pak II's. The tunze 9002 got great reviews as well but I do not know if it can fit on my 20 gallon tall which has a lid on it. Please help decide or make another recommendation! Thanks

I use a Tunze 9002. It runs very quiet, I used to have a Aqua C Remora Pro, it makes 1/4 of the noise the Remora did, if that. It truthfully doesn't skim quite as well as the Remora did, but it certainly works fine on my 28 gallon tank. The top of the Tunze collection cup is 5 7/8" above the waterline if that helps.

Thanks! Could you tell me the diameter of the cup? Or is that what you just gave me.

Thanks! I am not worried about the height as im expecting that it wont fit UNDER my lid. It will be behind just like my power filter but I was just wondering how much space it took up width wise.
