Pinched Mantle?
I don't know what pinched mantle is, but I think I might have it... my clam kind of looks like crap cus he jump off the rock and left his foot behind about a week and a half ago. He grew another one and is now on the rock in the sand. What do you guys think?
All the water params are normal, SG is 1.025, calcium and mag is 440 and 1450 |

It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks ok to me, with that said what type of lighting do you have? Croceas prefer high light so I would move it up....

Probably best to post in the clams area - they have much more experience- probably some pics of p-m as well.
I had a clam "jump" - actually thought he was lost for a while. Best advice the experts gave me was to get him on a separate rock so I could move him if needed. I proabbly had him too close to the lights. What I read to look for -- if the mantle appears too large, like the clam is reaching outward, then you may need to move it up for more light.
