Can I use rustoleum latex paint inside my tank?

I just need to paint some bulkhead plugs. I was wondering if I could use rustoleum latex paint to do it? I know Krylon fusion, but what about rustoleum? TY

I would say not to paint anything on the inside of your tank. There maybe some toxin to leach into your aquarium. Most people paint the outside of their tanks not the inside.

I would let them get covered in coralline algae. I wouldnt be willing to roll the dice on that.

I would only use krylon fusion on the inside. Walmart has a can for like five dollars.

I've read that rustoleum has a rust inhibitor that is toxic to the tank. Krylon Fusion is safe.

Sounds like a risk I wouldn't take. Wait a month and it'll be covered with stuff anyways at which point you wouldn't see what you painted it with in the first place.

you can use fusion but it will eventually flake off, if I where you, I wouldn't paint them, over time the plugs will encrust with coralline anyway and it won't be a concern.
