What is this Thing?
So my tank is about 3.5 months old now. I have a 47g bowfront, 305 fluval filter, Aero Force Skimmer, 2 Koralia Hydor PH, T5 Lights. My parameters are stable.
I have these swirly things most are very hard dark purple in color. I tok a picture of these on my frogspawn. There are also 2 on my return hose. They look like curlry little pig tails. Also I was wondering if there is such a thing as too much copopods, mysis and amphipods things, because I seem to have a lot. |

how loud is your aeroforce skimmer? I want one for my 20 gallon tank but its in a bedroom so i want a quiet skimmer...

are they good or bad? if they are bad how do I get rid of them? If they are good..how did I get them? from my live rock hitchhiker?
