Constellation - HELP!

So I just purchased a 48" Constellation (7x54) fixture from an RC member and received it today. No damage, all is safe and sound however 2 lamps fail to light up!

The red switch which controls 2 lamps (second to the last) are not firing up. The other 5 work fine; fans work fine as well.

I've checked the wires to endcaps and they're all snug. I've wiggled and shimmied the bulbs, swapped out numerous bulbs and still nothing. The indicator light on the switch, lights up. Could it be a bad ballast?

If any Constellation owners out there have experienced this, please HELP?

Could be a ballast. I had one go shortly after I purchased my Constellation. Lost 2 bulbs.Tom sent me a new one and there easy to change out. Don't bother posting in the Aquactinics forum because he hasn't answered any questions in quite a while?

Good to know. Was it difficult switching out the ballast? Any other ways to contact Aquactinics?

Thx
Ray

You can call them. They have excellent customer service.

Just be sure the bulbs you have are good. If one is out you will have a break in continuity and possibly (most likely) damage your ballast.

Understood.

I basically took the fixture apart; behind the reflectors, I found all connections to and from endcaps to ballasts were properly seated. Each switch has 3 terminal connectors; the switch that I was having issues with had 2 of 3 terminals connected. The third terminal was hanging loose. I reseated it and all is well!

These fixtures are Awesome and pretty much bulletproof. Super satisfied with what I paid for! Thanks again for the help guys!
