Live Rock During Cycling
Is it a horrible idea to introduce some live rock during my cycle for some bacteria to colonize on? Just thought I would add about 5-10 pounds or so. Thoughts?

I would add some live rocks and throw in a piece of raw shrimp to speed up the cycling process

Actually, if you got the money, I do not see why you can't throw all the rock you are planning getting in there. It should cycle really fast doing it that way.

If it's live rock it's already got bacteria colonies on it. Hence.... Live Rock.
